Schedule

A ferry leaves the Ketchikan side of the Tongass Narrows on the quarter hours and the airport side on the hour and half hour every day. The first run of the day leaves the Ketchikan side at 6:15 am and the last run of the day leaves the airport side at 9:30 pm.

Passenger Fares

  • $6 = Ages 12 and Older
  • $3 = Ages 6-2 Years
  • FREE = Ages 5 and Under

Vehicle Fares

  • $7 = Cars, light trucks, Vans
  • $3 = Motorcycles, Scooters
  • $10 = Box Trucks, Box Vans, Buses up to 35ft
  • $38 = Oversized Vehicles

Attention independent travelers, the most reputable and reliable hotels, motels, resorts and lodges will pick up guests at the airport side in a courtesy shuttle van, drive you on to the airport ferry and bring you to your Ketchikan destination. Alternatively, you can walk on — just step outside, cross the street and follow the walkway down a flight of stairs to the toll booth. The ferry ride is a quick five minutes and offers views of ships, boats, float planes and orcas if you are lucky!
